I just realized that I have another DVD missing! Truly wtf.

It's not a movie that I rewatch often nor recently hence it took me this long to discover. Hell, it probably went missing around the same time as my Pirates of Caribbean The Black Pearl DVD. I have the heavy suspicion that it went missing together.

My Stargate DVD is forever gone. Whoever who took/ steal them from me, I curse you to have the fugliest acne infected face EVER. I don't even think they sell the bloody DVDs in stores anymore!

T.T And now I shall resign myself to a restless and frustrated sleepless night.

If you do have my dvd please for god sake's return it to me!

I love this dude - Ken'ichi Matsuyama. In case you don't remember him, he's Negishi from Detriot Metal City and L from Death Note. This dude is getting real popular, snagging a role in a seemingly indie American movie of all things (Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac based on a novel by Gabrielle Zevin) and an impending Japanese period blockbuster called カムイ外伝 (Kamui Gaiden).

More fyi. Kamui Gaiden is formerly an anime/ game/ manga. Argh. Not necessarily in that sequence. Teaser trailer already looks damn promising.


Oh, upcoming movie, Ultra Miracle Love Story looks very bizarre... But cute... His image looks much better here anyways, more normal. No make up and weird costumes... Movie opens June 2009 but not sure when Singapore is ever going to show it. But oh oh, I think I like the soundtrack. Hahaha.


I also recently discovered that Matsuyama was Shin from the first Nana movie. WTF. I am the only who's late in realizing this?!

... is an acronym for Detroit Metal City. If you hadn't heard of the manga-anime-soon to be shown movie in Singapore, it's about a shy boy who went into the city with dreams of making it big as a teen pop idol. But he ended up being the talent and voice behind a metal band called Detroit Metal City. It looks omfg funny!

The actor who was L in the Death Note movies is the main lead in this movie so I'm expecting a really good time at the cinema soon. And oh, I heard that the actor REALLY sang the songs in the movie which makes it all the more appealing. Here's the official PV for the theme song (which also happens to be featured in the anime as well).


Movie opens in Singapore on the 19 March!

Attention to everyone: Who has my Pirates of the Caribbean The Black Pearl DVD. It would be nice to have to back and at least know who is holding on to it for so long.

Also, Shao. There is a banao UFO catchy thing at Marina Square!

To Shao. Er... You have to forgive the very cheesy acting. LOL And yes, it's a GAY MILITARY film. Back then it's a big deal for kissing men on their cheeks. Wikipedia has a more than adequate synopsis if you want to know what goes on in the movie.

I only discovered this movie while passing a CD shop playing a piano version of Forbidden Colors. Had to find out the song because I'd always heard it, but never known about it. Sakamoto is like... my favourite person right now.

It's like the movie, School of Rock but in reality TV series format. And Gene Simmons from KISS (the band that inspired Yoshiki into visual kei)! I think Rock School is somewhat interesting except that I thought they should have made the series a little longer. It's really hard to make a charismatic band within three weeks only. And it's littered with so many stereotypes that it's making me not liking the series but still... it's rock. Wahahaha. Not to mention I kinda like Simmons's onscreen snarky and egoistic personality - "because the male of the species manufactures billions of sperm everyday".

Season one is going to be shown on the new channel okto soon, so if you're interested watch out for it.

I was telling alerione  how much I hate wasps. Number one hate is jellyfish. Number two hate is wasps. Because it's just wrong and its nature is just plain creepy. It's like the parasitic alien from Aliens!

 

I'm back from the land of bad English and cheap thrills!

They're nabbing anime down loaders again. Apparently, people who have downloaded Ghost Hound and D Gray Man (amongst various others) after 1st September had been tracked. My "source" tells me that the Japanese license-rs themselves are involved.

Argh, have to back track and see if I did any sourcing during that period of time. Shucks, I DID source Claymore, Devil May Cry and Mayashimon! ::faints:: Crosses fingers and hope for the best.

DONE! I've finally put off packing my stuff so now everything is in place.

I'm getting rid of stuff so people who wants L'arc en Ciel's videos, Gackt's videos and Glay's videos please let me know otherwise I'll be dumping them all away. 

I'm still missing my Pirates of the Caribbean's Black Pearl DVD! Le sigh, I guess I'll have to re-buy it some day. Braudy hell.

Well, somewhat. Connection is still a little konky because my dad did something about the auto-connect to wireless thing so it's not really auto-connect anymore. My mum knows nuts about technology but it was her idea was to change the telephone cord to connect to another phone connection in the house and voila! It worked. I guess sometimes, the best solution is the simplest.

I love my mummy!

After a week in the new home, I am still... internet-less. Which resulted in much grouchiness and IWS (Internet Withdrawal Symptoms) during the mundane weekend. I've never been so glad to come into the office before since I can surf the internet here.

I need someone to shed some light on why I can't seem to engage in internet activity.
1. I'm using Singtel wireless, connected through phone line.
2. Both my dad's pc and my IBook can identify the wireless internet but cannot connect to the internet i.e. I can't go into Mozilla and Camino and Internet Explorer. I can't connect to chat online.
3. Mozilla and Camino tells me that it can't connect to my server.

Somehow, I don't think it's a firewall issue. Either my dad did something before he inconveniently left for an overseas trip or my guess is that the connection is screwed because now we have a new phone number? Is that even possible? I really really want my internet by this weekend.

So, asides from pathetically moaning about my lost connection to virtual reality, I am currently hooked on this Korean period drama, 太王四神. It's really quite ridiculous the way I marathoned it but thank god for the VCDs, otherwise I would have been even more miserable than I already am.
